Former Test Captain Misbah-ul-Haq conferred with MCC honorary lifetime membership

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has conferred on Misbah-ul-Haq with honorary lifetime Membership for his outstanding service to the game of cricket. He was given the honor during the game between Afghanistan and MCC XI played at Lords Cricket Ground. Misbah has become 22nd player to be honored with MCC membership and joined the illustrious league of cricketers who have played for Pakistan such as Mushtaq Mohammad, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Javed Miandad, Waqar Younis and Zaheer Abbas.

Ramiz Raja was the last player from Pakistan to be granted membership in the year 2015. Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the order and is owner of Lords Cricket Ground. It is highest honor to be given the membership for any cricketer who plays the game of cricket.

Misbah-ul-Haq retired from Test cricket after leading Pakistan to their first ever win in the Caribbean. He also led Pakistan to accomplish new heights such as playing well in England and become no.1 rank side in the world in Test Cricket.
