Australia’s premier fast bowler Mitchell Starc has fully recovered from a foot injury sustained during the tour to India. The left-arm fast bowler missed four months after having to go through surgery to make sure he is fit and raring to go for Australia in the coming season. Starc believes he must find rhythm and form in order to showcase his best in the upcoming Champions Trophy.
The pace bowler has gone extensive rehabilitation by taking one step at a time to make sure he can recover easily from the injury sustained last year. Starc is excited about forming a nice combination with other pace bowlers like Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and James Pattinson for the Champions Trophy. He said it would be nice to lead a part of all-pace attack to unsettle opposition batsmen.
Mitchell Starc will be seen in action for Australia as they face old enemy New Zealand in the first game of ICC Champions Trophy on 2nd June at Birmingham.
