New Zealand announce their one day and T20 squad for the series against South Africa

New Zealand have announced their one day and T20 squads for the upcoming home series against South Africa. Ross Taylor was left out of the T20 squad for the series as Tom Bruce and Corey Anderson were picked as better options for the shortest format of the game. Taylor has been the third highest scorer for New Zealand in T20 cricket but has failed to get noticed since the WorldT20 2016 held in India.

Ish Sodhi is picked alongside Mitchell Santner as two spin options for the series while Colin Munro has been dropped from the one day setup being replaced by Jimmy Neesham who provides utility with bat and ball. Luke Ronchi returns into the national side for both the squads as New Zealand will play their one-off T20 game against South Africa at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday followed by one day and test series.
