Pakistan Super League 2019: Statistical Overview

The fourth edition of Pakistan Super League is all to be played from 14th February till 17th March across venues in the UAE and Pakistan. Six franchises are set to compete in this year’s competition.

The preliminary stages of the competition will be played in the UAE across three venues- Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The final leg of round-robin games will be played in Pakistan in cosmopolitan cities of Lahore and Karachi. All the playoff games and the grand finale will be played in Pakistan. The final of the fourth edition of the competition will be played at National Cricket Stadium in Karachi.

Pakistan Super League will certainly keen to gain more cricketing fans across the world due to appearance of many big stars like AB De Villiers, Dwayne Bravo and Colin Munro in the coming season.

Two-time Champions Islamabad United will be favorites to lift the title this season. Karachi Kings are the dark horses for this season and might surprise many with their performances this year. Peshawar Zalmi will also be eyeing their second title this season.

13 wickets needed by Islamabad United pace bowler Mohammad Sami to complete 50 wickets in the Pakistan Super League. He currently has taken 37 wickets in 27 matches at an average of 17.43.

65 runs needed by Islamabad United opener Luke Ronchi to complete 500 runs in the competition. He has scored 435 runs in 11 matches at an average of  43.50 with five half-centuries to his name.
