Uncapped pacer Jacob Duffy and all-rounder Rachin Ravindra have earned their maiden call-up to the New Zealand’s Test squad for the upcoming tour of England. Veteran pacer Doug Bracewell has made a comeback to the national side after almost five years.
Uncapped middle-order batsman, Devon Conway is another player that has been named in the Test squad for the upcoming two-match series against England. Since making his debut for New Zealand last year, Devon Conway has done exceedingly well for the side in white-ball cricket.
Despite being called-up as a standby for Kane Williamson, Left-hander has yet to make his debut for New Zealand in Test cricket.
New Zealand have named their 20-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against England. New Zealand players like Kane Williamson, Kyle Jamieson, James Neesham, and Mitchell Santner are currently participating in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
The selectors will further trim to 15-man squad for the final of ICC World Test Championship that will be played at The Ages Bowl in Southampton. New Zealand and India will fight for the coveted trophy on 18th June.

All-rounder Rachin Ravindra have put in excellent performances for Wellington Firebirds. He smashed two hundreds for New Zealand A side in the matches played against West Indies last year. In the Plunket Shield, Ravindra smashed his maiden ton against Northern Districts.He has been dubbed as a player for the future and will gain a lot of experience on his first trip to the UK.
Pacer Jacob Duffy made quite an impact in his T20 debut against Pakistan. He was the standout bowler for the side in the game and awarded player of the match. The 26-year old pacer performed exceedingly well in this year’s Plunkett Shield competition. For Otago Volts, Duffy claimed 22 wickets in nine innings. Last year, Duffy consistently delivered excellent performances for Otago Volts and finished the season as leading-wicket taker alongside Neil Wagner.
In this year’s Plunkett Shield, Doug Bracewell put in splendid performances for his domestic side. The 30-year old has picked up 15 wickets at an average of 26.20.
After fully recovering from injury, Ajaz Patel makes a return to New Zealand Test squad for the upcoming tour of England. Lockie Ferguson was not considered for red-ball cricket after making his comeback for New Zealand in white-ball cricket.
